What can I do on this site?
Through PharmaGateway.net, you will have access to three journals, their associated content, and a wealth of resources including RSS feeds when new articles or alerts are published to the site. You can view article abstracts in different categories across each of the three journals: Pharmaceutical Research, The AAPS Journal, and AAPS PharmSciTech. Categories include Online First, Current Issues, Archived Issues, and Special Themed Issues that include articles across an array of topics with papers specially selected by that Themed Issue’s Guest Editor. You can also search for articles across the site through general or advanced search and share abstracts with colleagues.
Why do I need to sign in to this site?
While most features of the site do not require sign in—including viewing abstracts and submitting a manuscript- you must be logged in as an AAPS member to access the full text of the three Association journals. Upon logging in, you will be re-directed to SpringerLink to access the full text.
How do I register for this site?
As an AAPS Member, you will be able to take full advantage of the specific features on the PharmaGateway.net site. To become an AAPS member go to http://members.aaps.org/. Upon registration as an AAPS Member, you can then return to PharmaGateway.net and use your new Pharmaceutica user name and password to gain access to full content.
What user name and password do I use to sign in?
You can use the same user name and password that you use to access AAPS Pharmaceutica (www.aaps.org). If you cannot remember your AAPS Pharmaceutica name or password, please click here http://members.aaps.org/.
What if I don't have a Pharmaceutica user name and password?
If you do not have a Pharmaceutica user name and password, you will need to become an AAPS Member and register at http://members.aaps.org/. Upon registration on that site, you can then return to PharmaGateway.net with your new Pharmaceutica user name and password.
I have access through my institution, what should I do?
If you have access through your institution, you may click on the following "If you have institutional access, please click here" at the bottom of the abstract page. Once you have done this during a single session, PharmaGateway.net will not ask you to verify again that you are coming through an institution.
How do I search for an article?
There are three different ways that you can search for an article:
- General Search: Use the general search box at the top of all pages which allows you to enter titles, author names, or free text. Through this general search you may also specify the journals you would like to search within.
- Advanced Search: Use the advanced search link below the general search button and you can perform a more specific search across multiple criteria.
- Keyword Search: The keywords tab displays the top keywords associated with all articles within PharmaGateway.net. When clicking on a specific keyword from that page, you will be directed to a search results page with all articles for which that keyword is associated. If the keyword you are looking for is not on the keywords page, you may use the advanced search and specify the keyword within the search criteria.
How do I sign up for RSS feeds?
It’s simple, just click on the RSS icon in the Quick Links box which appears on every page. Your first feed will include the last 30 days worth of new articles. Subsequent updates will then include any new Online First Articles added to PharmaGateway.net.
